Filipino Dish - The Philippine cuisine is a mixture of different influences and what makes it unique is the taste. Most dishes have a combination of sweet, salty and sour taste. Meat is one of the main ingredient of our cuisine. Pork and chicken is the usual meat we use. We also use unconventional ingredients in our dish too like offal meats and pork blood.
I love sour and spicy food. To be specific, I like the sweet and sour combination and the sour and fruity taste. When it comes to the level of spiciness, I prefer just the right amount. I love the combination of spicy and sweet taste too. I don’t like my food to be salty and we have a few dishes that have soy sauce as an ingredient. Filipino soy sauce is too strong for me so when using it, I always make sure to balance the taste with different spices.
